Our Content Strategy
Intro
​
Wrestling is a very popular media that has seen a drop in popularity over the years mainly due to the unpopular decisions of pro wrestling flagship company WWE. This has spawned many rival companies to challenge the reign of WWE including New Japan Wrestling, AEW, Ring of Honor and of course my own company, CWE. However, every company has a plan for success so that begs the question, what is ours? Well, here it is, the content strategy plan for CWE.

The Audience
​
The audience is mainly wrestling/sports fans regardless of age or experience. The type of people that after a long day of work or school can turn their brain off for some mindless fun to relax and enjoy. Maybe some office workers who grew up watching wrestling as a kid but lost interest over time due to life getting in the way and became interested in see if it’s the chaotic aggressive mess he remembers. Or maybe it’s someone young who saw all the clips of old WWF wrestling online and became interested in the fire that was old wrestling chaos and creativity. That’s the audience we are looking for here at CWE.
The Problem and Uniqueness of Content

The problem we are here to solve is to reignite the old flame of pro wrestling and fixing the declining interest of the sport by bringing entertaining, chaotic, rated R matches something we have not seen from leading companies in years. What makes our content unique is that common sense has no place. You want an electric pickle with arms and legs? We got it. You want a 600-pound baby with demon powers? We got it. You want Shrek vs Ronald McDonald? We got it. Not only do we have the wrestlers we also got the type of matches wrestling fans love. Hell in a Cell? We got it. Elimination Chamber? We got it. Tables, Ladders, Chairs? We got it. no matter what you can think of we can mix the old with new age creativity.
Goal
​
Our goal is to revive the popularity of wrestling with the old fans of late 90’s and early 2000’s wrestling all while expanding to new fans to bring chaotic and super entertaining matches.
Existing Content
​
Content we have already produced varies quite a bit. We’ve had everything from 30 man matches to decide contenders for our most prestigious world title belts to 8-man Hell in a Cell matches where we saw laws of time and space thrown out the window seeing Former World Champion the 600-pound tantrum Isaac teleport through a wall to get back in the cage. We’ve had matches where ladders are deleted from existence and wrestlers fell 20 feet.
Possible Improvements
​
General improvements could be the addition of different types of matches maybe a ruthless version of TLC where nails and hammers can be involved or maybe a public wrestling match in the middle of the streets would be interesting to play around with. We could also play around with the endless creativity of adding new wrestlers.

Possibilities for Organization

We organize our work by organizing matches and wrestlers through different shows based on different days. But it can all be found on our YouTube channel.
Future Ideas
5 ideas I’ve had was a podcast called Chatting with the Chairman where I sit down and discuss the current events and future plans, I have for CWE. I’ve thought about doing a Blog for fans to discuss live with each other their reactions to matches. I’ve discussed adding a merch store for the website. I’ve thought about a video series showing the behind the scenes of CWE and how it all comes together. I’ve also thought of doing a course for wrestling and how to become one.

Our community involvement is one of our top values allowing our fans to help drive choices of storylines, new wrestlers, new rivalries, etc. Our value of quality is something we pride ourselves on. We promise our fans the best match our creative team can dream, with each fight being better than the last. Finally, our commitment to our fans is most important as we want each fan to come to each event being entertained and leaving happy.

Our content hold the three values of creativity, showmanship, and drama. Our value of creativity represents our drive to stay committed to keep giving you new ideas you’ll love every single week. Our value of showmanship is here to guarantee that our wrestlers are here to give you their all and show their dedication to you every match. And finally, our value of drama is here to give you the best immersive, suspenseful, and entertaining times of your life here at CWE.

Professional, Compassionate, Revolutionary. We are a very professional company that sets standards that represent a modern era of safety, commitment, and understanding. Our company shows ways of compassion through the love and respect we have for our fans. If we feel we did something wrong, we will go out of our way to right the wrong by 110%. And finally, we are revolutionary in our company by pushing ourselves past our limits and setting new industry leading standards as we grow in time.

Creative, Chaotic, Surprising. With our creativity, whatever you think of can happen is entirely possible. Our chaotic nature is rooted in our creativity, within these chaos you find enjoyment in the things you least expected. And speaking of least expected we are surprising by bringing you twists and turns you least expect in the most exciting ways possible.

1. Expanding our roster, by doing this it allows more and more possibilities of new fan favorites bringing more entertainment into the ring.

4. Expanding our match types, by doing this we can create a broader spectrum of alternate ways entertain you with a custom match rule set created by our leading creative team.

5. Adding new brands, with this we can add new brands and shows that have their own way of playing the game of wrestling.

6. Getting promotions or sponsorships, with this it also grants up with more promotion and financial backing.

1. Charging PPV – with this we could earn money for just having people watch.

2. Sponsorships - Getting sponsorships with big companies grants us with more promotion and financial backing.

3. Promotions - With this it also grants us with the ability to charge people for usage of our name and assets.

4. Patreon – People can donate money here.

5. YouTube Earnings - YouTube pays channels via views, ads, sponsorships, etc.

6. Merchandise, with this we can increase our income for our shows while simultaneously giving us promotion within the younger crowd.
